Solidframe was established in 2017, in Greece, founded on engineering expertise and international project management experience. Kolyvas

Christoforos Kolyvas is the Founder and Senior Project Director of SolidFrame, leading the company’s PMC services in the luxury hospitality sector since 2018, bringing his expertise as a civil engineer and his extensive technical experience in structural engineering consulting and development of high-end hotels in Athens, Mykonos, and the wider EMEA region. As a project manager with an impressive track record in the ultra-luxury hospitality industry, he is motivated by his ability to envision the completion of each project and grasp the vision of the client, which inspires a hands-on approach in every step of a project’s development.

Christoforos’ deep understanding of the high-end hospitality sector combined with his methodological approach inspires efficiency within his team. Christoforos is diligent in all aspects of project planning; from organizing engineering teams, reviewing designs, coordinating, scheduling to budgeting and risk management.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, and two Masters’ Degrees in Structural Engineering from Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, and in Protection of Monuments from the National University of Athens, in Greece – an academic background that gives his experience its theoretical foundation.

Leonidas Spyropoulos

Leonidas Spyropoulos is SolidFrame’s Senior Project Manager. Boasting a solid civil engineering background, he has built invaluable experience in ultra luxury hotel development, working with well-known international hospitality brands and applying his multifaceted skillset to the development of Mediterranean’s prestigious ultra-luxury hospitality projects.

His expertise in construction, infrastructure, and financial services has led him to hold prominent roles in key projects such as leading the modernization of Kalavrita Ski Center in Greece, while also serving as director of this resort, from 2014 to 2019. He was a valuable advisor and consultant to Parnassos and Kaimaktsalan ski resorts, monitoring their operation and development. More recently, Leonidas was a consultant to Hellenic Public Properties Co – HPPC.

His acumen in estimating, allocating, and controlling project costs has proven valuable to SolidFrame’s outcomes. As an expert in project planning, financial controlling, budgeting, feasibility studies, risk and contract management, his role in project completion is crucial. Leonidas also ensures his projects adhere to environmental sustainability efforts, applying safety protocols and project integration management, aligning with SolidFrame’s vision.

He holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Patras, an MSc in Construction Management from the University of Birmingham, and an MBA from Athens University Business School, providing him with a solid foundation of theoretical expertise.

Avra Cheimoniadou

As a Junior Project Manager with an architectural background, Avra Cheimoniadou brings the motivation and the drive that comes with fresh knowledge. Her experience is focused on architectural engineering, interior design and construction for luxury hospitality projects. Early in her career, she began working in the luxury hospitality sector – acquiring valuable experience as an entry-level architect and interior designer for premium hospitality establishments. Her assignments include interior designing and visualizations for luxury hospitality units in Rhodes, Paros and Chalkidiki. 

As an Architect / Jr. Project Manager in SolidFrame, her most recent assignments include the new resorts of international hospitality brands AMAN and Nammos Hotels. She contributes to the advancement of SolidFrame’s projects with developing project documentation and design review. She holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Yiannis Mitsoulas

Yiannis Mitsoulas is the Senior Construction Manager at SolidFrame. Before joining the firm in 2021 to lead the development of 4 and 5-star hotels in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, Yiannis built an impressive track record of major hospitality projects. His career began in academia as an accomplished theoretical physicist, holding a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the National Technical University of Athens. His research work spans prestigious institutions such as CERN, the Institute for Nuclear & Particle Physics, NCSR Demokritos in Athens, and the National Technical University of Athens.

Yiannis brings a wealth of methodological expertise to SolidFrame, applying his analytical mindset and systematic thinking to ensure meticulous planning and execution of ultra-luxury hospitality projects. From scheduling and budgeting to organizing engineering teams and closely monitoring the construction onsite, he actively oversees every step of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth delivery while proactively mitigating risks. He also leads project feasibility studies and coordinates the design process.

Yiannis’ academic background includes a BSc in Physics from the University of Patras, an MSc in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the LMU University in Munich, and an MSc in Physics and Technological Applications, from the National Technical University of Athens.

Evangelia Matthaiou

Evangelia Matthaiou brings her architectural and design management expertise to SolidFrame’s project development services. As an Architect Engineer, she has quickly built her track record working for years in the hospitality sector, both as a design manager and a project management consultant. Her experience includes boutique city hotels and 4/5-star resorts, such as the Nyx Esperia Hotel in Athens, the Nyx hotel in Thessaloniki, The Social Hotel in Athens, as well as being involved in the development of ultra-luxury hotels, such as the newest One&Only and AMAN resorts in the Mediterranean.

Her experience in construction, design and permitting is complemented by her time and resource management skills, fundamental in the development of SolidFrame’s projects. Her exceptional communication skills enhance her efficiency in coordinating multiple design teams and various design disciplines throughout project development.

She graduated from the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. With extensive experience in permitting processes, she is responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, while also serving as a technical advisor and permitting consultant.

Nancy Karistinou

With a solid background in luxury brand management and a passion for storytelling, Nancy leads SolidFrame’s branding and communication strategy for luxury hospitality and construction projects.

Her international experience with prestigious brands such as L’Oréal Hellas, Elie Saab in Paris, and H&M in Stockholm has shaped her expertise in positioning brands within the luxury market. At SolidFrame, Nancy contributed to the creation of the branding guidelines for Nammos Hotels & Resorts and led the marketing and communication strategy for Nammos Hotel Mykonos.

Holding a Certificate in Strategic Hospitality Marketing from Cornell University, a BA in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics, and an MBA in Luxury Brand Management from IFA Paris, she brings both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to her role.

Her mission is to elevate SolidFrame’s presence in the luxury world by delivering unique brand experiences and impactful communication strategies.

Vasilis Kourmadias

As a Senior Project Manager, Vasilis Kourmadias brings exceptional organizational skills and specialized expertise, underpinned by a solid theoretical foundation in civil engineering – perfectly aligned with the field in which SolidFrame operates.

Since 2017, he has been working in commercial and urban hotel projects, as well as developments for international luxury hospitality brands, such as One&Only, AMAN, and Nammos, solidifying his experience in project and construction management within ultra-luxury hotel development.

Vasilis’ ability to combine excellent time management, resource allocation and project planning with outstanding communication skills makes him a well-rounded project manager who consistently delivers exceptional outcomes. His role extends beyond construction management and coordination, tendering consulting and cost management. He remains actively involved throughout the full project lifecycle, offering valuable input on matters ranging from technical matters to forecasting.

His analytical approach is backed by his Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Patras, and an MBA International from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Konstantinos Evangeliou

As an Architect and Senior Design Manager, Konstantinos Evangeliou brings extensive experience in construction management, blending creativity with technical expertise. He has worked in a wide range of residential and hospitality projects in both Greece and the UK. His recent roles include serving as a project architect for various high-end residential new-builts and renovations, as well as acting as a senior design manager for the development of a 5-star hotel in Mykonos. His previous experience spans multiple sectors, including design and construction within hospitality, residential, educational, retail and healthcare fields.

Having worked in diverse environments in international markets, Konstantinos demonstrates not only technical proficiency and strong design and creative skills, but also critical thinking, problem-resolving abilities, and the collaborative spirit of an authentic team player. His organizational, site supervision and leadership skills are proven on the field, where his important input is crucial to the successful development of each project.

His diverse experience has also enhanced his social understanding and urban planning capabilities – valuable attributes for large scale projects that interact with and influence their surroundings. Promoting environmental sustainability is a priority for Konstantinos, who remains up to date with the latest legal and marketing developments in his field.

As an ever-evolving creative professional, Konstantinos holds a Bachelor’s from the Interior Architecture & Product Design Technical Educational Institute of Athens, a BSc from the Architecture RIBA Part I University of East London, a Diploma in Architecture from RIBA Part II University of East London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice Architecture from RIBA Part III, Kingston University in London. He is a registered chartered architect in both the UK (ARB) and in Greece (TEE).

SolidFrame’s Senior Design Manager, Myrto Lantza, has a strong foundation as an architect engineer, holding a Diploma from the Democritus University of Thrace, in Greece. With extensive experience in ultra-luxury hospitality, Myrto has successfully applied her expertise in architectural design, project management, and construction management. Her career includes working with renowned architectural studios, where she contributed to projects for 5-star hotels and resorts in Greece, as well as for office spaces. This experience highlights not only her technical skills, but also her comprehensive methodological approach. Myrto’s hands-on, results-driven philosophy aligns perfectly with SolidFrame’s values. Her strength in scheduling, budgeting and team coordination allows her to balance the creative and practical aspects of each project. She oversees and coordinates the design teams, offering her architectural insight to ensure seamless project planning and execution.

Ioanna Loumaki is a Civil Engineer, contributing to SolidFrame’s project management processes by thoroughly documenting each project, ensuring compliance with company and client standards, and developing detailed risk registers and risk assessments.

Her problem-solving mindset and excellent time management skills align perfectly with SolidFrame’s hands-on approach. This is further enhanced by her passion for both construction engineering and environmental engineering for sustainable infrastructure and energy. Ioanna’s civil engineering background enables her to seamlessly address the practical and theoretical aspects of each project.

Ioanna is diligent in crafting project documentation, focusing on time schedules and risk assessments for various luxury hospitality projects. Her most recent assignments include the new resorts for international hospitality brands, One&Only and AMAN, as well as other high-profile hospitality developments in Athens and Mykonos.

Ioanna holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras, and a Master’s Degree in Energy Production & Management from the National Technical University of Athens.

Ioannis Taskas

Ioannis Taskas is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in project management, construction, and structural engineering consulting, specialising in ultra-luxury hotel developments. Over the years, he has played a key role in the design, permitting, and execution of high-end hospitality and residential projects, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion.

During his tenure at Aegean Landmark (2019 – 2023), Ioannis was actively involved in permit issuance and project management, overseeing complex developments in Mykonos. As a freelancer between 2023 – 2024, he continued his work in the region, focusing on developing a 4-star hotel while leveraging his expertise in construction coordination, budgeting, and risk mitigation.

His technical acumen spans the development of luxury hotels and villas, where he excels in project planning, cost management, value engineering, and design review. Known for his methodical approach, he is adept at organising engineering teams, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Ioannis holds a Civil Engineering degree from The National Technical University of Athens (2009 – 2016) and is fluent in Greek and English.
